Memory Lane: Katrina + Tanner

Katrina and Tanner met by fate and with a little help from their sweet friends. Katrina and Tanner both attended the same high school in Arlington but never formally met, although they did have friends in common. When Katrina moved back into town for grad school and Tanner was visiting for the holidays, their friends decided they would introduce them during a Christmas party they would be attending. Of course, that set-up at the Christmas party turned out to be successful, culminating in Tanner proposing privately at a winery in Fredricksburg in May of 2020.

Katrina and Tanner’s beautiful spring wedding is the perfect example of how elevated details don’t have to read as stuffy and boring. When thinking of their day, they knew they wanted it to feel romantic, classic, and timeless. With both being great fans of live music, it only felt natural that their evening was filled with dancing to The Wonderfuls. Another thing on their must-haves was great Tex Mex, which was served by Esperanza’s Catering & Restaurant.

For her florals and details, Katrina drew inspiration from past weddings and events at Artspace111, knowing that she loved the garden and wanted something that felt simple and elegant. We love the beautiful pedestal florals in vintage vases by Brandi Chapman Floral, the blush color palette, and how everything read so beautifully Spring and lush.

Their night ended with a bang with the perfect send-off from DFW Vintage Cars!
