Rain? No problem!

The most common question we get is “And what happens if it rains?”

Texas is a wild card when it comes to weather, and there's a common saying around here that "if you don't like the weather, all you have to do is wait 10 minutes". And although for the most part, our Texas weather has smiled upon us and given us hundreds of beautiful weddings with perfect weather, we are always prepared for the what-ifs. Luckily our coordinators and staff are always happy to work with or through the weather. Through flips, tents, partial in-door, and outdoor door set ups we have seen it all! And although the Texas sun might not be shinning that day, the couple's love does!

Claire and Madison’s wedding day was rainy but they did not let it ruin their nuptials. They had a beautiful day and all of their guests happily stood out in the rain to celebrate their love. It was magical!

Our coordinators will work on a Plan B pretty early on and keep a close eye on the weather the week of. If there is any chance of rain, they will solidify the plan and the final decision is made the morning of.

Since the weather is pretty fickle, sometimes we can get away having a quick ceremony outdoors and dinner in the gallery. Many times the skies clear up in the evening and we can move back outside and dance the night away under the lights. Other times couples choose to move the entire event indoors. Either way, our staff is here to help you have the best day!
